Murder. Mystery. Movie-Making.

One Day. One Crime. One Criminal Among Them.
This September 21st, teens aged 12–17 are invited to APS Moorabbin for an epic 10.45-hour acting adventure—packed with twists, teamwork, screen acting, and suspense.

When young actors arrive for what seems like a normal casting call, tragedy strikes: Mrs Ella Star, famous actor, up for the lead, is found asleep, poisoned by sleeping tea,  in the costume room. Now the mystery begins…

Everyone’s a suspect. Everyone’s got secrets. And only by staying in character and discovering clues can they uncover the truth.

A One-Day Immersive Workshop Like No Other

Running 10:00am to 8:45pm, this event blends long-form improvisation, screen acting, and immersive gameplay. Designed for teens who love drama, storytelling, and solving a juicy mystery—while sharpening their acting skills, it’s a thrilling combination of creativity, confidence, and collaboration.

What’s Included:

Murder Mystery Gameplay
Actively solve a scripted whodunit as fully-developed characters. Perform, interrogate, scheme, and investigate in an epic live-action roleplay with real-time twists and planted clues.

Improv Games & Hidden Clues
Level up your improv skills through engaging games designed to reveal key details—and keep the mystery alive.

Virtual Reality Scene Exploration
Use Meta Quest 3 VR headsets to uncover digital clues and immersive scenes. Think escape room, but next-gen.

Scene Analysis & Character Development
Break down scenes like a pro. Learn how to analyse scripts, make strong choices, and bring complex characters to life.’

Scene Work for Screen
Film the self tape scene you work on, receive feedback during taping and receive the  filmed self-tape footage after the event.

Movie Screening + Dinner
Enjoy a murder mystery movie over dinner (provided!), followed by a themed trivia game with prizes. Eat, chill, and get inspired.

Confession Monologues
Each character reveals their truth in a final performance piece. Who’s guilty? Who’s bluffing? Who gets away with it?

Parent Screening & Airdrop
To wrap up the day, we invite parents to attend a short screening of scenes at 8:15pm, with footage airdropped or shared digitally after the event.
