Senior Kids Acting: Ringwood
Acting Technique: Senior Kids is a fun, high-energy weekly class for students in Grades 3–6, designed to build confidence, imagination, and strong acting foundations through play, creativity, and teamwork.
Each class begins with improvisation games and physical warm-ups to spark creativity, encourage bold choices, and help students stay present and engaged. Through acting exercises and age-appropriate scene work, students learn how to embody characters, use their imagination, and perform with clarity and confidence.
As the year progresses, students work toward acting scenes structured like audition self-tapes, learning how to approach scripts, make clear choices, and perform truthfully within a simple on-camera format. The focus remains on process and play, allowing students to explore character and storytelling in a relaxed, supportive environment.
The class places a strong emphasis on learning through play, building confidence, forming friendships, and enjoying the creative process. Throughout the year, students also work toward an end-of-year on-stage theatre performance, giving them the excitement and achievement of performing live for an audience.
Whether your child is brand new to acting or continuing to grow as a performer, this class offers a joyful, confidence-building experience that supports real skill development while keeping acting fun.
