5 days @ Moorabbin

8 – 12 yrs

10.00am – 4.00pm

Monday 8th April – Friday 12th April

Cost $370

Days 1 -4 will focus on creating story, characters, sound effects and music. The program will revolve around a simple and familiar theme, for example, animals at the zoo. Using this theme, students will harness their creativity and work together to construct characters, narrative and plot. During this part of the process students will learn how to break down the script into small scenes, with each scene taking place in different locations. This will allow students to delve into their imaginations, applying their five senses to each setting and incorporating their discoveries into the narrative. Once the story is complete, the program will focus on transitioning the story from paper to radio and film, exploring the three main facets of a radio play: dialogue, sound effects, and music.  Throughout this process, students will have equal time to showcase their skills.

Day 5 will be a live video recording of the performance in front of family and friends from which students will be able to download the final product.
